- Summary:
- Ayn Rand was a name that appeared regularly on paperback books I noted but had no time to read as a college student. I would occasionally pick one up, attracted by the odd spelling of the first name, the provocative title, the lurid design; but I learned little more from my quick scans than the fact that she advocated radical economic self-interest and was the creator of a hero who destroyed the building he had designed when someone tampered with its facade.
