- Summary:
- Presents two classic "silent" films directed by Kenji Mizoguchi with new benshi narration (2 versions on the 1st work). The first tells the story of an independent young woman who has a water juggling act in a travelling carnival. When she meets and falls in love with an orphaned carriage driver, she pledges to send him to law school in Tokyo. The second film is love triangle between a man, his son, and a young woman with the added twist that the young woman is the man's daughter and half sister to the son.
