Summary:
This creative, animated story, told through the eyes of a wise old elephant, teaches young children how to recognizing the warning signs of a tsunami. The advice is inspired by firsthand accounts provided by Scottish families who experienced the devastating tsunami while vacationing in Thailand and Sri Lanka on December 26, 2004. According to witnesses, the first warning of the imminent disaster for elephant keepers came when the elephants picked their keepers up and dropped them off to safety on higher ground--their senses advising the animals that disaster was on its way.
