- Median folio, printed in double columns. Leaf a2r: 69 lines, plus headline; area of text: 250 (256) x 156 mm.; col. width: 76 mm. Printed marginalia and paragraph marks. With signatures and foliation; without catchwords. Rubrication not called for. Woodcut initials and diagrams; woodcut printer's device of Ottaviano Scoto (57 x 44 mm.) on leaf 2P5v, "used ... in 1483 and 1484 when he presumably did his own printing. After 1484, he acted only as publisher, and this block was later used in books printed for him by Locatelli ... The device was so closely associated with Scoto [sic] that it appears on his tombstone."--M. Harman, Printer's and publisher's devices in incunabula in the University of Illinois Library, no. 97. Register on leaf 2P5v.
