- Summary:
- Lt. Colonel SS, Adolf Eichmann was responsible for the expulsion of Jews, Slovenians, and Gypsies from the Reich between 1938 and 1941, and later, their deportation from Europe to the death camps. Hiding in Argentina, he was captured by the Israeli secret service in 1960. His trial took place in Jerusalem the following year and was the first public event ever recorded on video. This stresses the contrast between monstrosity of the crime and the mediocrity of the man.
