Bound in full blind-stamped calf over beveled-edge boards; 3 raised bands on spine; blind-stamped spine panels and turn-ins; ms. paper label on spine with authors, titles and dates (1 date struck through); ms. title on head-edge; 2 metal catchplates and remains of 2 clasps; 2 early vellum ms. leaves (texts for mass on 17th Sunday after Pentecost and autumnal Ember Wednesday on first leaf, 22nd and 23rd Sundays after Pentecost on second) in red or brown ink with red capital strokes and red or blue decorated initials with red or blue pen-work extensions used for pastedowns; two vellum finding tabs (1 affixed to title leaf, the other to leaf a2 of preceding work).
Rubrication: initial spaces without rubrication; underlines of section headings supplied in red; some capital strokes and underlines of text and printed marginalia supplied in red; all badly faded.
