Collection of short, animated, propaganda films produced between 1948 and 1954 that tell the story of the success of American capitalism. Going places (1948) is the story of an entrepreneur who starts selling soap and subsequently gets rich, but just can't bring himself to retire because of his love of making money (8 min.) -- It's everybody's business (1954) promotes American capitalism by connecting capitalism, freedom and business to the American way of life. It claims that spending money is a patriotic act (20 min.) -- Make mine freedom (1948) says that communism threatens the American way of life. It also explains how America is the best place to live in the world because of the numerous freedoms Americans enjoy (10 min.) -- Meet King Joe (1949) promotes American capitalism and explains how increasing productivity is the American thing to do (9 min.) -- Why play leap frog? (1949) discusses how wages and productivity are related while promoting the idea that workers need to continually increase production if they want to keep their wages high (10 min.)
