- Maintained by the United Nations, the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) is used to classify exports and imports in order to enable statistical comparisons between different countries and years. This volume presents Revision 4 (adopted in 2006) of the SITC, in which 238 basic headings found in the previous version were deleted and 87 new ones added.
