The British Museum Catalogue lists this work as "by J.A.J. Cérutti; compiled from materials furnished by J.N. De Menoux, J. Grou, and H. Griffet;" Backer-Sommervogel states that Cérutti composed this work under the direction of de Menoux and Griffet.
