Notes:
"April 4, 1807. I certify that the foregoing act ... is a true copy taken from the original ... having been mislaid in the office of the clerk of the House of Commons, it was not delivered to me at the rise of the session with the other acts--consequently the public printer had not copy of it, and of course it has not been published and bound up with the other laws ... This copy is therefore furnished to the printer, in order that he may print a sufficient number and transmit them to the different counties, to be annexed to the laws already published ... Will. White, secretary."
The only available copy, held by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is bound between p. 34-35 of the Laws of North-Carolina ... for the year ... one thousand eight hundred and six ... (Shaw & Shoemaker 11038).
