- "Conditions. The volume will contain about six hundred pages ... The price to subscribers will be three dollars, and to non-subscribers three and a third. It is desired that the subscription papers may be returned to Mr. Goodwin, printer, at Hartford, or to the writer of the history at North-Haven, by the last of August next. ..."
- "N.B. The first volume of the History of Connecticut is out of print, and will now be re-printed, with some corrections and the addition of the great patent of New-England ..." The two volumes of Trumbull's Complete history of Connecticut were eventually published at New Haven by Maltby, Goldsmith and Co. in 1818.
