Spofford's first almanac. See C.L. Nichols, Notes on the almanacs of Massachusetts, Proceedings of the American Antiquarian Society, n.s., v. 22 (1912), p. 37, 104. The Intelligencer advertisement states the almanac to be "calculated by a young gentleman in this vicinity, who has filled his pages with a taste, which will make it in the interest of every gentleman to furnish himself with one of them."
