- Printer's name from verso of title page, which also states, "The first number (now in progress) will be published in March next ..." Sanderson's Biography of the signers to the Declaration of Independence, v. 1, was published at Philadelphia in 1820. An earlier edition of the proposals is dated Nov. 15, 1819 (Shaw & Shoemaker 49356).
- Five plates include engraved facsimile signatures of the signers, "copied from Mr. J. Binns' print, by J. Warr Jr. engraver, 110 Walnut St. Philada.", and engraved title page for the proposed work, illustrated by C.A. Lesueur and engraved by J.B. Longacre. Pages [3]-8 contain the Declaration of Independence, intended as a specimen of the printing and paper.
