"Isaac Bickerstaff" is a common pseudonym in almanacs.

"The publisher begs leave to observe, that, owing to the incorrectness of the copy, several errors escaped seasonable observation in the calender pages of last year's almanack. The present having been calculated, with much care, by a gentleman of this town, and the whole carefully revised and examined by him, is, he will venture to say, as correct as publications of this kind generally are."--p. [2].

Advertised in the Providence Gazette for Nov. 7, 1818.

"Valuable family medicines. Hamilton's elixer."--advertisement, p. [24], 1st count.

"A solemn review of the custom of war; showing, that war is the effect of popular delusion, and proposing a remedy. ... Eight thousand copies printed, for gratuitous distribution."--23 p. 2nd count, with separate title page, with imprint "Providence: Printed by Miller & Hutchens, and H.H. Brown, 1818." By Noah Worcester. Issued with some, but evidently not with all, copies of the almanac. Also issued separately (Shaw & Shoemaker 46872).
