Notes:
The astronomical notes and the clock equations (sixth column) on the calendar pages for January-August, as well as the preceding eclipse predictions, are identical with those in the Philadelphia almanacs calculated by Joshua Sharp for 1814. (A few notes are added or omitted.) All the other calculations on these pages, and all the astronomical notes and calculations for September-December, duplicate those in Bailey's Rittenhouse almanac and Bioren's town and country almanac for this year, both calculated by William Collom and printed at Philadelphia. Sharp's work is substituted for part of Collom's in the 1813 and 1816 issues as well.
But in Poor Will's pocket almanack for 1814, also printed by Crukshank, all the calendar pages are an abridged version of those in Sharp's almanacs, with nearly all the astronomical notes repeated, some horological notes added, the moon calculations duplicated, and the times for sunrise and sunset combined. For the other years when both were issued by Crukshank, the calendar pages throughout Poor Will's pocket almanack are an abridgment of those in Poor Will's almanack.
