- The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages duplicate those (also by David Young) in The Citizen & farmer's almanac for 1820 (Shaw & Shoemaker 47621), which is calculated for the meridian of Morristown, New Jersey; except that a column for the sun's declination replaces one for the moon's southing. The extensive eclipse predictions are also identical, with some variation in the wording.
- The calendar pages, with the eclipse predictions and astrological preliminaries on p. [2-3] are identical in content and typography with those in: Hutchins' revived almanac, for the year of our Lord, 1820 (Shaw & Shoemaker 48306 and 48307), by David Young, printed by Charles N. Baldwin.
