Two editions were set in type and printed simultaneously, and may be distinguished by the presence or absence of a comma after the word "informed." The ornament beneath "Commonwealth of Massachusetts" also differs. The American Antiquarian Society has two copies of each edition, all printed on a single sheet and not separated.

Another issue of this edition, which includes the comma, is signed: By order of the commander in chief, [blank] adjutant general.
