"Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In Senate, June 15, 1813. Resolved, that two thousand copies be printed of the speech of His Excellency the governor, the answer of the Senate and House of Representatives; memorial of the legislature to Congress; the report of the committee relating to the introduction of new states, beyond the original territory of the United States; the report of the committee relative to the defence of the sea coast; and the report of the committee relating to the refusal of the president to distribute the proportion of arms belonging to this commonwealth; and the clerks of the Senate and House of Representatives, are hereby directed to transmit one copy of each to the governor, lieutenant governor, and each member of the Council, and each member of the Senate and House of Representatives of this commonwealth, and to each member of the Senate and House of Representatives from this commonwealth, in the Congress of the United States, and to the selectmen of each town, and the assessors of each unincorporated plantation in this commonwealth."--p.
