- John Howe, whose name appears as author on the title pages of the almanac through 1811, was also the only printer in Greenwich.
- The present issue is the second in the series to appear under a pseudonym. The author's preface, dated May 12, 1812, states: "I have reason to be satisfied with my first number, as more than 5000 copies were sold ..."
