- There is no record of a newspaper with this title at Mount Holly, N.J., suggesting that an insufficient number of subscriptions were received to encourage publication.
- Imprint date suggested by textual references to "well-fought fields of Bridgewater, Chippewa, and New Orleans." The printer Sergeant Hall removed from Baltimore, Md., in 1815, to Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1816, suggesting he perhaps considered settling at Mount Holly, N.J., at some time in the interim.
