This is the shorter version of the Clergyman's almanack for 1814 (Shaw & Shoemaker 28162). The advertisement for the latter, in the Independent chronicle (Boston) for Oct. 4, 1813, states that "It is printed in two sizes, large 9 dollars per groce; small, $4.50 per groce." The latter price appears at the foot of the present title page.

The 1814 issue is the fourth of the Clergyman's minor almanack, despite the numbering at head of title, which is actually that of the Clergyman's almanack.
