Dated [1818?] in Shaw & Shoemaker. Another issue (Shoemaker 863), dated [1820?], has "Sold by special appointment, by Mr. Samuel Pilsberry [i.e., Pilsbury], successor to Cyrus Holbrook, druggist, at the Sign of St. Luke's Head, no. 56, Hanover Street" inserted between "observe this" and "Take care of this pamphlet" on the title page.
Conway is listed at 1 Bumstead-Place in Boston directories for 1818 through 1820. Cyrus Holbrook died on Oct. 6, 1819, and Samuel Pilsbury is listed at 56 Hanover St. in the Boston directory for 1820. The latest dated certificate is that of Apr. 14, 1817.
