An answer, dated Boston, Jan. 20, 1812, to John C. Warren's A letter addressed to a Republican member of the House of Representatives (Boston, 1812). Warren's subsequent Reply to a pamphlet purporting to be An answer to a letter ... (Boston, 1812) is addressed on p. [3], "To the three principal advocates of the petition for a College of Physicians, authors of the said Answer." The principal author was probably Benjamin Waterhouse, whose support for a Massachusetts College of Physicians, as well as his previously published writings against Doctors John Warren and John C.
