Notes:
The calculator was Joshua Sharp. The calculations for the sun, moon, and eclipses, and the astronomical notes on the calendar pages are identical (barring a few additions) with those in The Annual visiter for 1811 (Wilmington), The New Jersey and Pennsylvania almanac for 1811 (Trenton: G. Sherman), and Stewart's East and West Jersey almanac for 1811 (Trenton: R. Stewart), all calculated by Joshua Sharp.
The Annual visiter, and Stewart's, lack the column of time equations. The New Jersey and Pennsylvania almanac groups these on a separate page, and adds a column for the sun's declination.
"Abraham Sharp" is a name found in the Middle Atlantic states, but is also that of an eminent English astronomer and mathematician (1651-1742).
Title vignette. The Zodiac is the only other illustration.
Bookseller's advertisement, p. [48].
