The astronomical portion is by Abraham Shoemaker. The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages, as well as the preceding eclipse predictions, are identical with those in Carey's Franklin almanack for 1802 (Philadelphia), which names Shoemaker as its calculator. There are fewer columns of calculations in the present almanac, and the ephemeris at the head of the pages is abbreviated.
The Anatomy, as title vignette, is the only illustration.
