Notes:
The title pages of Strong's almanacs for 1806 and 1807 published at New Haven identify Strong as the author of those formerly issued under the name of Hosea Stafford. The author's preface, the eclipse predictions, and the astronomical notes on the calendar pages are practically identical, and the calendar page calculations identical for the most part, with those in Strong's The Connecticut pocket almanac for 1802 (Hartford). The partial variation in the calendar calculations can be accounted for by the difference in meridian between New Haven and Hartford. "Stafford" includes Strong's characteristic page entitled "Variation of sun and clock."
Advertised in the Connecticut journal, New Haven, Nov. 5, 1801.
The Anatomy is the only illustration.
