Another issue (not in Shaw & Shoemaker) gives the author's name as "Mrs. Rawson." The imprint on the title page of v. 1 of that issue reads: New-York: Printed by John Swain [i.e., Swaine], for H.M. Griffith, no. 88, Water-Street.
