Notes:
"Richard Saunders" is a pseudonym. The calculator was Joshua Sharp, whose name appears on the title pages of subsequent almanacs in this series. The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are identical with those in Johnson's almanac and Kite's town & country almanac for 1810 (Philadelphia), both by Sharp, with some exceptions. There is some slight variation in the times for the sun at the beginning of most months. Notes on the length of day are added in Poor Richard, and a few on the planets and bright stars omitted. The times given in the tides column are abbreviated, the column of clock equations dropped, and an ephemeris added.
Still another version of Sharp's calendar pages for 1810 is found in Cochran's Philadelphia almanac and Father Abraham's almanac for this year.
Title vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration.
