- The calculator was Joshua Sharp. The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are identical with those in the Citizen's and farmer's almanac for 1804 (Philadelphia), by Sharp, except that the present almanac omits a few notes and inserts a few others. A column for the moon's southing is substituted for that of time equations. The eclipse predictions are a shorter version of those in Citizen's and farmer's. Sharp's name appears on the title pages of issues from 1806.
