The first of a series of country reviews conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), this report offers a comprehensive examination of public service reforms that have occurred in Ireland since the mid- 1990s. The report was prepared by members of the OECD Secretariat. The intent of the report is to review public management reform and governance issues to help countries identify how reforms interact and how they can be used to better reinforce each other to achieve the goals of government.
