At a meeting of the Committee of the Africans and Descendants of Africans in Boston, voted--that Fortune Symmes, Peter Guest, and Cyrus Vassall, be a committee to wait on the Rev. Dr. Morse, and in the name of "The African Society," to thank him for his discourse delivered before them, at their request, on the subject of the "abolition of the slave-trade," and request a copy for the press.
