- About half the calculations on the calendar pages are identical with those in Houghton's genuine almanack for 1810, "astronomical part by Asa Houghton" (Shaw & Shoemaker 17780), and the rest vary slightly. Their arrangement duplicates Houghton's. The astronomical and other notes on the same pages correspond in part.
- The almanac is possibly the joint work of Asa Houghton and Gilbert Graves. See notes on the bibliographic record for the 1807 issue of Thomas's (Shaw & Shoemaker 10621).
