- Cover title.
- Based upon a London edition published by J. Harris in 1806 with title: The happy courtship, merry marriage, and pic nic dinner, of Cock Robin, and Jenny Wren.
- A very similar issue was published in 1808 by William Charles, and probably engraved by him. Not included in the list of chldren's books published or illustrated by William Charles in Harry B. Weiss' William Charles: early caricaturist, engraver and publisher of children's books (New York: New York Public Library, 1932).
- According to Welch, "the plates used in 212.1 and 212.2 appear in a book without a title page and having brown paper covers [AAS Copy B]. The book is considered part of a publisher's remainder which was considered to be printed in 1820. While the date is still in question it is possible that the book is part of a remainder printed by Johnson and Warner in 1809."
- Picture captions: Robin in love. Courtship. Jenny's consent. Robin informs the cock. Proclaiming the marriage. The rook and lark. Going to church. Jenny and attendants. Robin and the bullfinch. General assemblage. Marriage ceremony. Ceremony continued. Putting on the ring.
- "Johnson & Warner at their juvenile book-store have lately published ..."--advertisement, back cover.
