Most treatises have separate title page with same imprint and printer's device.
"A direction for the governement of the tongue according to Gods word" and "A declaration of the manner of knowing Christ crucified" have caption title.
Pages 331, 546, 547 and 725-26 misnumbered 231, 564, 457 and 745-46.
Another edition of vol. 1, published in 1600, with title: A golden chaine: or, the Description of theologie (STC 19646).
Some print faded and show-through, and some pages stained.
