Layout: Written in 30 long lines.
Script: Written in an italic script (possible name of scribe on f.496r, Arnold ?).
Watermark: Briquet Oiseau 12250 (exact date unknown, probably from late 16th century).
Decoration: Both volumes have gauffered edges on pages, v.1 has marginal geometric diagrams on f.108v, 352v, 375r, 377v, 399v-400v, 410r, 422r, and 423v; v.2 has some two-line and three-line initials.
Binding: Contemporary vellum, gilt stamped with unidentified coat-of-arms.
Origin: Written in Italy in 1598.
