- Imprimatur on A2 is signed by M. Clay and dated Febr. 21, 1639 [1640?] Cf. Pforzheimer.
- "Ben: Ionson's execration against Vulcan", "The masque of the gypsies", and "Epigrams to severall noble personages in this kingdome" each have special dated t.p.
- The first leaf and the last leaf are blank; the second bears an imprimatur.
- Signatures: A-C¹²D¹²(D5-(D6-10)+d¹²) E¹²(E4(-E5-11)+e¹²) F-G¹² (A1 and G12 blank).
- D6-10 and E5-11 are cancelled by gatherings d¹² and e¹² respectively. Variant 2: cancellanda present.
