- Overcome with jealousy, a barber's assistant cuts the throat of a rival for the affections of the barbershop's manicurist. The story is told in flashback beginning at the assailant's escape from Dartmoor Prison. "A tense, shocking thriller that stylistically evokes the early films of Alfred Hitchcock and the masterworks of Russian and German silent cinema."
