- Letter addressed to the Lord Treasurer Lord Buckhurst informing him that Queen Elizabeth has granted by order under the Privy Seal money for Irish suitors or claimants and directing him to pay the towns and individuals listed in a document that formerly accompanied this one, now unknown. Signed by Sir Thomas Egerton, Master of the Rolls and Keeper of the Great Seal; Thomas Sackville, Lord Buckhurst; Charles Howard, Earl of Nottingham, Lord High Admiral; George Carey, Lord Hunsdon, Lord Chamberlain; Roger, Lord North, Treasurer of the Household; Sir William Knollys, Comptroller of the Household; Sir Robert Cecil, Secretary of State; Sir John Fortescue, Chancellor of the Exchequer; Sir John Popham, Lord Chief Justice; and Sir William Waad, Clerk of the Privy Council. Autograph note at the foot of the page signed by Buckhurst reads, "make an order for the payment of this."
