In this ed., the "i" of signature "Ei" is printed under the "e" of "embrace" and the colophon is dated 1584; a variant has has both the colophon and t.p. dated 1583, and the "i" of signature "Ei" is printed under the "r" of "embrace".
Woodcuts: title within woodcut border, large ill. on t.p. verso, initials, tail-piece.
Printed in one column, in black letter.
Identified as Early English books, 1475-1640; 1597:06 on UMI microfilm.

Penn Libraries copy imperfect: all after leaf C8 wanting. Two leaves from another ed. (signed G4, [G5]; paginated 93-96) with psalms 148-150 and other hymns inserted at end.
