Summary:
This new edition builds on the firm foundations laid by Jones's through the years as the mainstay of veterinary nursing training. A new editor and some new contributions bring a fresh eye to much of the content, which has been updated in line with the new RCVS syllabus. All chapters have been reviewed and information has been reorganised as required, to make the book as user-friendly as possible whilst still remaining authoritative. A new section has been added on nursing models, and information on exotic pets has been integrated throughout the book rather than sitting in a stand-alone chapter. There are a wealth of new colour photos and diagrams and the new edition benefits from the tried-and-trusted BSAVA design, which highlights tables and key facts in tinted boxes to aid fast information retrieval.
