Summary:
A wealthy merchant seeking a crimson flower for his youngest daughter encounters a hideous beast who demands the daughter in payment for the enchanted flower (1st work). Animated version of the classic Christmas tale, The nutcracker, with the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky (2nd work). The great Czar Saltan's bride bears a son, but the Queen's jealous mother has mother and son cast out to sea where they land on an island and are helped by an enchanted swan (3rd work). The old Czar Dadon makes a pact with a magician and falls in love with a beautiful and mysterious princess (4th work).
