- "Limited edition of 52 signed and numbered copies"--Colophon.
- "Many of the designs enclosed were originally hand stamped, later enlarged and then cut in linoleum. Others were just drawn, while some were accidental happenings on the proofing press. In 1965, as a collaboration between its Design and Education Departments, the Museum of Modern Art in New York arranged for an exhibition of some of these experiments. At that time, several national and international magazines published articles about this project. Now, four decades later, this is the first time that a sampling of the eighty or so originals is being editioned."--Leaf [2].
