In this major new work, Nuno Nabais, a leading figure in Nietzsche Studies, provides a cogent survey of the development of Nietzsche's thought, investigating the importance of tragedy in the evolution of Nietzsche's thinking and how a crucial reinscription of the Stoics would come to play a central role in his philosophy.
