Kekchi, with two printed pages in Spanish and front matter in Spanish added in 1875 by Berendt .
Summary:
A 18th-century copy of sermons in Kekchi in a variety of hands from the 17th century, on topics such as St. Thomas Aquinas, Pope Gregory, St. Benito Abad, the Ascension, Corpus Christi, the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene, the apostles Peter and Paul, and preparation for confession. Berendt also lists astronomical-religious notes in his table of contents. Bound in after the manuscript are two leaves (pp. 71-74) from a printed work with the running title Liber primero de la exortacion à la virtud.

Foliation: Paper, 134; modern pencil foliation, lower right recto; these numbers include four leaves before the early manuscript, so the marked foliation is always four ahead of the entries in Berendt's table of contents.

Origin: Written in Guatemala before 1782 (dated note, f. 132).
