"The continuation and conclusion of the civill warres of France: written in Italian by Henrico Caterino Davilla ..." has a separate title page, inserted before leaf 3G1 (p. 409, 4th sequence), with imprint: "London, Printed by Ruth Raworth, are to by sold by Thomas Heath, 1648."; pagination and register are otherwise continuous.
Signatures: pi² A² B-5Q⁴ 5R⁶ (-5R6) 5S-8A⁴ 8B².
Woodcuts: initials; head- and tail-pieces.
With side- and shoulder-notes.
There were at least 3 booksellers by the name of William Lee or "Ley" at work in London at this time. One of these worked at the Turk's Head ca. 1627-1675. Cf. Plomer, H.R.A dict. of the booksellers and printers ... in England, Scotland and Ireland from 1641 to 1667, 1907.
