- "The series consists of ten broadsides of poems, by ten acclaimed poets, in limited edition, letterpress format on fine paper. The first series is comprised of poets from Ireland, Scotland, England, the United States, and Canada."--Information sheet, laid in.
- Each broadside, except that with the poem by Billy Collins, has a signed illustration by Carolyn O'Neill.
- Each broadside has the imprint: Signal Editions, Véhicule Press, Montréal, Québec, Canada. All are dated between 2002 and 2006.

- Acquired for the Penn Libraries with assistance from the Laura Jan Meyerson Poetry Fund.
- Penn Library has copy B37 of the Standard format set B of the first series. Each broadside has a poem, with a single-colour illustration, on a 15"x22" sheet of ivory-coloured, handmade paper from Papeterie St-Armand. Handset and printed on letterpress by Pierre Filion in Goudy typeface. The broadsides are signed by the poet and artist.
