• Inscription documenting the sale by Binyamin Desforno, son of Rabbi Shem Tov Desforno, to Rabbi Isaac, son of Rabbi Uziel of Modena, 22 January 264 (1504), witnessed by Abraham Yehudah, son of Rabbi Yehiel, of Camerino and another witness (f. 396r). A transcription and translation by Javier del Barco is in the curatorial file.

• Collation: Parchment, 398; 1¹⁰⁻¹(-1), 2-39¹⁰, 40¹⁰⁻¹(-10?); [1-398]; contemporary foliation in ink, beginning with 2 (bet), upper left recto, mostly trimmed away and only occasionally visible; modern foliation in pencil, lower left recto. Catchwords on the lower left last verso of each gathering.
• Layout: Written in 2 columns of 30 lines; verticals ruled in lead, horizontals ruled in faint ink; commentary surrounds Bible text; parasha markers (first word of the reading) above the masorah in the upper margin.
• Script: Italo-Sephardic square script (Javier del Barco) with vocalization.
• Decoration: Ornamental penwork around some catchwords.
• Binding: Contemporary stamped morocco.
• Origin: Written in northern Italy, probably between 1470 and 1499, based on the ruling style (Javier del Barco).
