- The new edition contains new photos, a discography and a CD, which contains partly unpublished material. The excerpts from previously published material comprise: Ich will bei meinem Jesu wachen, from Matthäus-Passion, by J.S. Bach; Ich baue ganz auf deine Stärke, from Die Entführung aus dem Serail, by W.A. Mozart; and Trockne Blumen, from Die schöne Müllerin, by F. Schubert. The previously unpublished pieces comprise: selections from "Zauberflötenparodie" (composer not given), performed at the Musikhochschule Freiburg in 1954 for the birthday of voice professor Margarethe von Winterfeld; a Volkslied-Improvisation sung as a lullaby for his daughter, including the songs Wenn ich ein Vöglein wär, Am Holderstrauch, Der Mond is aufgegangen, and Die Blümelein sie schlafen; a rehearsal of Vor dem Fenster, op. 14, no. 1, J. by Brahms; and a rehearsal of Cäcilie, op. 27, no. 2, by R.
