- A scientist in the 19th century invents a machine that allows living things to sleep for hundreds of years, and one of his first victims happens to be a space traveller. When he awakes in modern India he sets out to capture the machine, which is hidden in a secret underground room. Other people get wind of the machine and also try to steal it.
