Summary:
This second edition of the outstanding reference, Veterinary Ophthalmology, has been renamed Diagnostic Atlas of Veterinary Ophthalmology, reflecting the completely rewritten and expanded text with the addition of nearly 100 photographs. Now with over 700 exclusive photographs, the book is not just a simple collection of images but an aid to diagnosis and differential diagnosis, providing most non-specialists and veterinarians with all they need to know. The text is also used to draw the reader to features associated with diagnosis.
Diagnostic Atlas of Veterinary Ophthalmology includes extensive series on the wide variation of the normal fundus particularly in the dog but also the cat, horse and cow as well as examples of other animals. Many of the pathological conditions featured in the new edition illustrate the variations and differing degrees in severity of the abnormalities considered vital in leading the reader to an accurate diagnosis.
